Our 7th Annual America’s Finest City recruiting showcase tournament in San Diego is sure to be another huge success. We have become one of the “must” enter showcases along with the Octoberfest and Pre-Thanksgiving showcases for the Fall. College coaches and travel teams love to come to San Diego and experience our hospitality, great weather, and local attractions such as Sea World, The World Famous San Diego Zoo, and the many casinos all within driving distance of the fields. We will provide the same roster and schedule information to college programs that is supplied in other major showcases and we are confident that we can attract the coaches from all the major colleges as well as the smaller ones. Our showcase is now on every colleges recruiting calendar. We have teams attending from Texas. Florida, Oklahoma, Virginia, New Jersey, and all of the Western States. This is a 5 game guarantee tournament and the entry fee is $525.00. All sites will have full snack bars, field maintenance, and the full complement of college coach information will be available at all locations as well as detailed driving directions. Participant and schedule information will be sent to college coaches before they arrive in San Diego. In 2007 over 35 teams were turned away due to the return each year of satisfied teams. Most teams enter a full year in advance and there is little room for new teams or teams moving up from 16U. Don’t miss out and make sure you reserve your team spot now! Entry open until full.
In case of rain outs showcase will be rescheduled or teams will receive credit for 2009. No refund policy after October 1, 2008.
For the 18U portion of the tournament we will try to stay at three locations...Kit Carson Park, Rancho Bernardo Community Park, and Rancho Bernardo High School. All three are within 2 miles of one another with easy freeway access. Schedule will be provided the first week of October. This year we are including an individual player camp hosted by West Coast All Stars, run in the same manner as the one held each year in Las Vegas. More info will be sent to each team later on how to nominate players. We also hope to extend game times to 1:40 drop dead to allow for more showcasing. There will be some Friday night games for local teams as well as teams who request them that are flying in from out of town. We are pleased to have two of the top Gold organizations in Texas this year as well as the NJ Beach Girls and Oklahoma Eagles returning...we also appreciate having all the Arizona, Nevada, and California teams again.
